Therapeutic Communication: Energetic Interventions

This course is for the beginning and advanced Healing Touch practitioner in refining their therapeutic communication skills and in recognizing energetic patterns of interactions. In particular, issues and emotional discharge which often occur within the Healing Touch sessions will be addressed. Therapeutic interventions from an energetic perspective will be the main focus of this course, as well as skill building with the best communication approaches. Participants are encouraged to bring examples of situations which they have experienced with their clients. This course is a 22-hour program which blends the art of therapeutic communication with the energetic patterning that occurs within the Healing Touch interactions.

Instructor: Sharon Scandrett-Hibdon, RN, PhD, CS, FNP, CHTP has taught therapeutic communication at two major universities to graduate and undergraduate nursing students for the past 22 years. She brings this rich teaching background and blends it with her energetic and psychotherapy experience to provide a rich learning experience which has very useful tools for the practitioner.

Therapeutic Communication: Energetic Interventions is another tool which blends well with the core curriculum of the Healing Touch program.

Completion of Healing Touch Level 1 is a prerequisite.
