Maureen is a psychiatric-mental health clinical nurse specialist and Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and Instructor who has been teaching Healing Touch since 1995, nationally and internationally. She combines energyhealing with psychotherapy. She particularly enjoys working with people who have experienced childhood abuse or PTSD. She is also trained and experienced in tapping modalities, mindfulness and trauma treatment.  She is a qualified mentor and has completed the mentoring class through Healing Touch Program and loves to mentor.

She studied all levels with Janet Mentgen, founder of Healing Touch and was trained by her to teach Healing Touch. She has been a guest at national conferences, on radio and TV, both for energy healing and psychiatric-mental health issues. She maintains a private practice in Herndon, Virginia.
